YES poached eggs are the best (and a poorly poached one is always so disappointing haha!). I am always torn between the green/poached egg menu items and the super sweet, super decadent french toast or waffles myself. Would be so worth a trip, let me know if you ever make it down!

Thanks Lisa! You so should, a weekend trip down would be so worth it – so much food and shopping! I think Melbourne is pretty hot at the moment too (I am currently back home in Auckland so have escaped the worst of the summer heat I think!).

I need to come to Melbourne and do some serious eating! All of the dishes look absolutely phenomenal! I would have a really tough time picking which place to try first, but I must say… I’m sucker for any dish that has a creamy poached egg on top.
